Funktion One are English inventors and manufacturers of professional loudspeaker systems.

Achieving the best possible audio quality is the principle motivating factor at Funktion One. We are intent on sonic accuracy and our technological approach avoids the use of both system EQ (with its inherent phase and headroom problems) and compression driver mid-range (with its inherent harshness and distortion). Our loudspeaker systems also have excellent directional control allowing sound to be focused where it's needed and minimising out-of-venue environmental impact.

Our designs also focus on maximising efficiency (conversion of amplifier power into acoustic energy) as this tends to produce alive and responsive sound. It also means that less electrical power is required for a given acoustic output making F1 Resolution systems more energy efficient compared to alternatives.

Jennifer Rene was born with music in her soul. Singing and performing since she was very little, writing songs since she was 10, those around her knew she was destined to be involved in music somehow for her future. Which is exactly what happened. Ever since her first real club experience in Chicago, Jennifer Rene knew her calling was to be a part of dance music. But not just by doing one part, by doing everything that can be done for this music genre.

So not even a year later, she bought a computer and a mic and sat down to record her very first sample of vocals with them. She took the first take she ever recorded on it and sent it to a friend to get an overall opinion. This friend had a close connection with trance producer Jose Amnesia, whom he sent the sample too, unknowingly to Jennifer. Next day Jennifer was contacted by Jose to record more vocals for this small sample and in a short period of time Jose Amnesia Feat. Jennifer Rene "Louder" was born.

"Louder" was an instant success and picked up by record label Armind through Armada music, owned by world reknown DJ Armin van Buuren who was a big fan, debuting "Louder" in the ASOT 250 live show that played for millions of listeners and continues to play in clubs all across the globe. Markus Schulz being a big fan as well chose "Louder" to appear on his Ibiza
2006 album.

But being just a singer isn't where this girl is going to stop. Jennifer's all-time passion is to become a DJ. Recently acquiring the necessary equipment, Jennifer Rene taught herself the basics of the decks in less than a month and is in the process of getting her DJ career started. "From the first time I walked into a real club, and saw a real DJ, playing real dance music, any thoughts of what I had thought I wanted to be were washed away. Then and there that night, I realized, I was born to do that."

However, being just a singer/DJ isn't where this girl is going to stop either. Jennifer knows one day she will move into producing and remixing as well. "I want to do it all. Because this music has done everything and more for me."

Jennifer Rene is currently hard at work writing and recording new material and has many exciting projects waiting just around the corner, She can't wait to begin performing and DJing live. Watch out, because this girl has only just begun to show what she is capable of.

For Toronto, Canada's Adam K, it's tremendous amounts of skill, creativity,hard work, and years of perfecting his craft that have catapulted him into the upper echelon of dance music. Fueling his stellar live sets is over 15 years of experience in mastering sound design, audio engineering and producing. His keen ear for shaping sounds and knack for composing emotional hooks fuse together to create his trademark style. Adam's solo and collaborative projects have dominated the underground including landmark tracks such as "I Can Feel", "You're Not Alone", "Question", and "From The Speaker" which melded the minds of Adam, long-time friend Soha, and Toolroom frontman Mark Knight. Of course it was another collaboration with Soha that captivated the world with "Twilight". Named an Essential New Tune on the legendary BBC Radio 1, Pete Tong set the tone for one of the biggest records of 2008, which was confirmed by landing at #2 for the best-selling tracks overall on Beatport that year.

Adam's music is a favourite of the world's top DJs seeing releases such as "Complicated" be a staple in sets from the likes of Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Matt Darey, Rank1, Judge Jules, Cosmic Gate, Menno de Jong, and more. Not just an original composition mastermind in the studio, it's Adam's mind for remixing, along with partner Soha, that has catapulted him into superstardom as the duo's remixes are some of the most pinnacle dance records of the past few years. Kaskade's "4AM", Benny Benassi's "Come Fly Away", Deep Swing's "In The Music", Heikki L & Ercola's "Deep At Night" and most notably the Adam K & Soha Remix of Reflekt's #1 UK Dance Chart tune "Need To Feel Loved" raised the duo to astronomical heights. Adam has reworked singles from dance icons Tiesto and Deadmau5, to mainstream chart-toppers Keri Hilson, Shiny Toy Guns, and Robyn, to one of the most legendary bands of all time in U2. It is his vision, passion, and technique that keep them in high-demand from international hit-makers and underground sensations alike.

Traveling around the globe, Adam's mastery in the studio translates directly into the art of DJing and he has rocked single-show crowds upwards of 10,000 for legendary promoters and venues such as Ministry of Sound, Godskitchen, Global Gathering, The Guvernment, and Privilege Ibiza. From festivals across Europe, North and South America, Adam's definitive sound blows up dance floors and pushes the hands to the rafters. Though primarily known for his melodic blend of progressive house,
Adam's style is much more diverse, and showcases his love for all things house, tech to electro, deep to banging. Not just a producer and DJ, Adam is also the founder and head of Hotbox Digital. The label has been a vehicle for Adam to break into the industry and has released a multitude of incredible tracks from some amazing talent including Soha, Addy, Dataworx, Macca, and JELO. With a renewed focus on Hotbox, Adam will be expanding the label's international reach both with fresh new original material and new signings from upcoming and established talent, including the massively anticipated Adam K & Soha track "Far Away" featuring the unforgettable vocals of Jeremy Carr, due out later this year.

With collectively over 4 million plays on You Tube and support from the world's DJ elite, Adam has seen his music effect the lives of music lovers around the world. With the rise of Hotbox Digital and a full slate of touring, solo projects, collaborations, and remixes on the horizon, 2011 is the year of Adam K.

Over the past decade, many artists have made their way into the trance scene through variations of
popular sounds that seem to fit the period. However, Canadaʼs best kept secret did not fit such a cliché
characterization, and was ready and waiting to be unleashed to the masses…

The year 2008 proved to be a monumental year for Arnej with a multitude of releases on the distinguished labels Black Hole and Armada. ʻPeople Come, People Go,ʼ ʻThe Ones That Get Awayʼ and ʻThey Always Come Backʼ shook the dance floors and were heavily supported by every A-listed DJ on the scene. Propelled to the spotlight rather quickly, Arnej continued his success with a vocal track namely “Strangers Weʼve Become” with Josie & Jaren, which was featured on Armin van Buurenʼs ʻA State Of Trance 2008ʼ compilation. On remix duties, Arnej has provided his own rendition for several famed producers including Sied van Riel, Dash Berlin, Leon Bolier, The Thrillseekers and Armin van
Buuren. Grabbing the title of “Favourite Producer” by Armin in DJ Mag, as well as a nomination
“Best New Face of 2008” at the Trance Awards, this was only a taster of what Arnej was masterfully
blazing.

In 2010, dance floors all around saw ʻThey Need Usʼ gather support from the worlds top DJs. With
intense, deep-rooted synth swirls inside a maze of strings, intricate vocal effects and the surroundings of melodrama, his latest smashing release ʻThe Strings That Bind Usʼ was featured once again on ʻA State of Trance 2010′ and illustrates his ability to construct the suspenseful & emotional sound he is known for. After having played in some of the worlds top venues, Arnej also became the first ʻTranceʼ DJ to perform Syria on June 24th 2010. This first step was ʻHistory Re-writtenʼ and in turn has swung the doors wide open for other DJs to make their mark on the Syrian crowds.

With the rest of 2010 and 2011 right around the corner, an impressive foundation for productions, you can expect nothing but quality from Arnej. Standing on top of the trance charts, this Canadian producer never fails to deliver a new construction in sound with his thoughtful beats and tasteful melodies. His hard work has paid off by having been voted #26 on the Tranceaddict Top 250 poll and #87 on the DJ Mag Top 100 this year. In Arnej's own words "This is just the beginning...".
